Steven Grimwood – Race Director

Welcome to the 2021 World Masters Cyclo-Cross Championships.

In what has been a very difficult time for the entire world under the backdrop of a global pandemic we have been unsure, right up to the last moments if, and how, this years event would be able to go ahead.

As the Global situation has gradually improved and thanks to the Covid Vaccine rollout we are now thankfully in a position to proceed with some level of certainty and just enough, to allow us to bring you an event that we can all be proud of. An opportunity for friendships to be made, and old friends reunited.

Many of us will not have seen our Cyclo-Cross Family for over 2 years now so to be able to bring this event to Suffolk and allow us all to get together again to enjoy our Cycling and to experience the enjoyment of Cyclo-Cross racing for all ages will be truly fantastic. We have an amazing team here all waiting to welcome you to what we hope will surely be the Worlds Friendliest Championships.

Ian Poole – Chairman – Eastern Cyclo Cross

The Riders and Members of Eastern Cyclo-Cross are looking forward to welcoming you all to what will be one of the crowning events of our long history. From National Series Events, National Championships and European Championships we can be very proud to have supported events that not only showcase existing talent but also welcome and introduce young riders and train new officials.

As an association, we are most proud to organise a regional league of 15- 20 events per season encouraging hundreds of riders to try out cyclo-cross and to make friendships that will last a lifetime. From under 5’s to over 70’s we welcome all and we look forward to welcoming our friends and visitors to the World Masters Cyclo Cross 2021
