East Suffolk is a local government district in Suffolk, England, which was established on 1st April 2019, following the merger of the existing Suffolk Coastal and Waveney districts.

With a strong track record of delivering quality sporting events, maximising volunteering opportunities and ensuring an effective event legacy, East Suffolk is the perfect partner for the UCI World Masters Cyclo-Cross Championships.

East Suffolk Council have successfully worked with Suffolk County Council to deliver the UCI Women’s Tour and became the first venue to be confirmed for the 2020 edition of the race, with the news that Suffolk County Council and the East Suffolk Councils will partner with event organisers in a two-year deal to bring the UCI Women’s WorldTour event to the county in both 2019 and 2020.

In its five previous visits to Suffolk, the Energy Women’s Tour is estimated to have attracted in excess of 250,000 spectators to the roadside and created a net economic impact for the county in excess of £3.5 million.

Lead Organisation Partner – Eastern Cyclo-Cross Association

The Eastern Cyclo-Cross Association manages and administrates cyclo-cross events in the East of England. It represents over 100 clubs and has over 1,000 riders taking part in weekly events. With a strong following and healthy volunteer base, the association is committed to helping deliver world-class events.

Trinity Park in East Suffolk encompasses an award-winning conference and events centre set in 300 acres of park land. The venue accommodates a huge variety of indoor and outdoor events throughout the year and is thrilled to be welcoming participants and spectators from around the world to the UCI Masters Cyclo-Cross World Championships.
